About Read on Watch
Read on Watch is a set of guides to reading books on Apple Watch. It is made by the BeeReader team, and we want that to be clear from the start.
Who maintains this site
Read on Watch is written and maintained by the team behind BeeReader, an e-book reader for Apple Watch. We are not a neutral review site: BeeReader is our product, and it appears in these guides where it is relevant.
Why we made it
Questions like “Can you read books on Apple Watch?” or “How do I get a TXT file onto my watch?” come up all the time, and the answers online are often thin or out of date. While building BeeReader we have tested a lot of what works, and what doesn’t, on a watch-sized screen. This site is where we write that down.
How we write
- The answer first. Every guide opens with a short, direct answer, then explains.
- Other options too. If something can be done without BeeReader, or another app does it better, we say so.
- BeeReader’s limits included. When BeeReader can’t do something, the guide says so plainly.
- Dated. Every guide shows when it was last updated. watchOS and apps change, and we revise guides when they do.
- Legitimate sources only. We cover reading files you are entitled to use. We don’t cover removing DRM or downloading pirated books.
